3D printer filament

I’m looking to buy some filament for the 3D printer, where’s the best place to get PLA filament from, reprapworld or faberdashery? Is there any difference in quality/value from those places?

Also, is there any reason to not go for the cheaper filaments, like the clear one? I saw on the wiki that Semitransparent Blue and Firetruck Red were recommended specifically, but clear is cheaper:

Avoid RepRapWorld like the plague, we’ve had nothing but trouble with their
filament!

I’d suggest always going more expensive, as the cheap filament is always
