hi all,

did anybody manage to cut 6 mm ply on the orange laser cutter? if so at
which settings?

I haven’t tried 6mm ply for a while however I found these settings were
more than effective at cutting 4 mm laser plywood:

Power = 100
Speed = 4

hi all,

yes, 6 mm ply works fine with the settings alex suggested. (power 100,
speed 4).

also, 9 mm mdf works, too! (power 100, speed 1.8).

hmm, now i wonder if i can go even thicker… :smiley:

5 mm acrylic also wants 100/4. AFAIR :slight_smile:
