Acetone vapour in members area

Hi All,

It has been remarked that recently there has been a very strong smell of
acetone vapour coming from the members area in the Hackspace.

If possible please can members leave objects / pieces which have been
solvent cleaned in the main workshop (clearly labelled) with a window
cracked open to provide ventilation.

The effects of acetone vapour when inhaled are not good for one’s health -
same goes for any solvent really…

Cheers

Alex

one option would be to build a small booth with an extractor similar to
those used in laser cutters.

that’d be great actually.

I suspect the LC fumes aren’t potentially explosive.
