Hello,
I intend to visit the Wednesday Opening Evening on 17th Feb, and was
recommended to post on here regarding specific knowledge anyone might have
using Arduino, Servo’s and connecting this with PIR sensors and mains
lighting.
I have dealt with Arduino basics but am struggling with taking this to the
next level. If there’s anyone with experience that wouldn’t mind advising
me on how to continue with this project, if you could let me know, and
hopefully arrange to meet to discuss options, it would be greatly
appreciated.
Many thanks

Hi Therasa,
Cool! If you ask around i’m sure someone will be able to help you out. If
i’m not too busy I might be able to help out, but i do seem to get tied up
with things during open evenings

I can certainly attempt to assist. It might help if you emailed a diagram
of what it was you were hoping to achieve though as that gives a starting
point.
Cheers

Hi guys,
Ok so I attached an image including sketches of the form I hope to create,
the main points I wanted to get across were the combination of a breathing
motion created by a cam attached to the servo which would stretch out the
honeycomb paper material I am using, therefore making the light brighter as
the light would escape through the stretched holes. I am hoping for this to
be motion triggered so as you approach, the light fades on and the form
expands in a slow, breathing motion. Hope this makes sense! I shall bring
further details with me tonight.
Thanks
Theresa
