Hi Guys,
Having problem with connecting Atmel debugger to an Arduino Due. First problem I encountered was compatibility with the JTAGICE3 and windows 8, got it recognising the debugger however programmer won’t connect. Not sure if its still not set up correctly or I’m doing something wrong with the Arduino… next to no online information on doing this correctly so if anyone with some experience of these is at the hack space tomorrow I’d appreciate some help :-S.

Hi Mike,
I binned your duplicate message. As you hadn’t posted before it needed someone to approve it before it would post. You should be fine now (unless you post from a different a/c).

Just a follow up after trying several different programmers leads, power supplies and due boards. I have concluded problem must be a debugger jtagice3, win8 SAM problem. Did manage to connect and recognise the device ID with another programmer and Kimball had managed to program the unit without problem. Even tried a different jtagice3, cable and trimming the connector around the board with no success.
