I’m good actually although that seems like a fair deal. Tenma are normally
not great IMO. we have some of their multimeters at my work and they are
utter jank!
Cheers

Andrew,
If you look at the datasheet (further link) it will accept 220Vac also.

No a completely stunning review…ok for 40 though!
For the list price of 130 I’d say ‘no thanks’ but for 40 it seems like
a deal. For a while I had an EBay search set up for power supplies and
for 40 you generally got a 2nd hand fixer-upper or something that only
did +ve fixed voltages.
Alan Burlison
The ones I made for the space cost me about £30 in parts all told. Most
expensive bits were the panel meters. I didn’t get voltage and current
meters combined…mistake on my part. Everything else I designed works
just as well as these do…ish…cases would have cost me more than £40
for two off though…hmmm £40 is a steal. I don’t mind using the ones I
built and they are at the space. I have been ordered to remove kit in my
house by her ladyship…not add to it
otherwise I might have been
tempted.On 29 January 2013 16:37, Alan Burlison alan.burlison@gmail.com wrote:

Yes, it’s good that we have a wide selection of PSUs at the space,
However, I want the luxury of being able to set fire to my own home as
well

I have this PSU under the UNI-T badge. For those who have just bought one,
they are actually surprisingly good. The wire problem was not present, and
the transformer did have a spec on it that easily met requirements.

George
