capacitive touch

Has anyone experience with using capacatavie touch buttons?
I am looking for a small controller that will do 1-4 buttons.

I did start experimenting with using a PIC16f727 for Cap touch some time
back, but without any means of doing signal capture (very old scope only) I
gave up. I’d like to hear if you have any better luck though.
Sorry I’ve not been able to get over to HacMan for ages, but I’m always
interested to read what you guys are up to.
