CNC Working Group: Monday the 23rd

Hello All,

I’m planning on running another CNCWG event on monday evening, where any
interested people can come along and give me a hand with starting the
conversion of the Roland CAMM3 CNC machine we’ve had donated to run
Smoothie.

I’ve already designed a handy little breakout board, which i’ll be milling
on the Proxxon MF70 we converted last year

If anyone is interested in giving me a hand with CNC things , feel free to
come along.

Ta,
Bob

Have you added it to the calendar?

T.

Hi,

I’ve noticed the Roland CNC Machine sitting in the corner with the smoothie
board
I’m not sure if anyone is working on it, but I’d be interested in getting
involved in getting it to work again
(I’ve got visions of milling parts out of smelted coke cans)

For info I managed to find the original schematics / service manual of a
PNC-3000, I’m not sure which model the one in the space is but I think it’s
something similar at least
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/CAMM-3/files/Service%20Manual/
(you’ll need to join yahoo groups to download the pdf, it’s the all in one
file Service Manual.pdf at the top of the list)On Thursday, June 19, 2014 12:47:44 PM UTC+1, bob wrote:

Awesome, grab me in the space some time and i’ll talk you through what i’ve
done / planned / bought for it, if you want to finish it off that’d be
awesome :DOn 10 October 2014 13:36, garlicbread (Richard) <garlicbready@googlemail.com wrote:
