Some friends of mine who have a co-working/shared office space available
and I wondered whether anyone here would be interested.
For the first 3 months of my current job, the company I work for, DMC,
was based there and I confirm that they are a really friendly, welcoming
bunch. 
Anyway here’s the details:
We have two desk spaces available in our nice and light corner office
on the third floor of a building on Lever Street, which is
ridiculously handy for Piccadilly bus station, Piccadilly train
station and Piccadilly Records. The building can be accessed 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week and has CCTV and secure door entry. There are of
course toilets (swish) and we share a kitchen with the two lovely
people who work in the space next door to us.
The atmosphere is a nice and friendly one of relaxed productivity and
you’ll be sharing with a couple of web developers, a graphic designer,
a chap who makes money from writing for websites, and a bar owner who
also moonlights as a web / graphic designer. There’s quite a bit of
work that gets shared around, quite often a client will come for a
meeting with a graphic designer / blogger and end up with a website
designer / SEO freelancer into the deal. It’s also good for getting a
few heads together over tricky problems.
We’re asking £146.81 per calendar month which includes all bills
(business rates, water, heating, electricity, broadband) and VAT per space.
We have ample bookcase space and we have a spare desk (lovingly
handcrafted by ourselves!) for one of the spaces.
