Digital radio

Hi all,

Please don’t unplug the digital radio to turn it off - use the standby switch. When it is unplugged it loses all power and takes 10 minutes ish to turn back on again.

Bob suggested one of the capacitors might have gone in it, anyway to save people thinking it’s broken when it won’t turn on for ages please leave it plugged in. In doesn’t use much power on standby anyway.

Please find somewhere else to plug it in, or add some more sockets to
the bench that side as it’ll still be the first thing that gets
unplugged if people need to plug their laptops in.On 2 December 2013 10:59, tamarisk kay tamarisk.kay@gmail.com wrote:

Ben,

It now has a label on it, and this is something of shooting the messenger as I am merely the one mentioning it, and given that the radio is generally running even on a Wednesday night when most people are in, I’m not sure I’m following your logic here.

If more sockets are needed please provide a solution rather than further problems.

Maybe we could put the amp and the radio on top of the computer under
the table.

Gets them out of the way, and means they can be plugged in without
fear of being unplugged.On 2 December 2013 11:09, tamarisk kay tamarisk.kay@gmail.com wrote:

I fixed it once already, the power socket had pulled off the PCB so I
bridged around it, but this sounds like a different problem.
