Does anyone have a problem with me gutting the Acorn Electron?

Hi All,

We have an acorn electron in the space thats in pretty bad nick. I don’t
think we have any of the cables etc for it, and AFAIK nobody has ever used
it in the space. In this condition i’m pretty sure its worthless.

I’d like to use the keyboard & case from it for a pi project, to act as the
central hub of my space automation kiosk.

Just thought i’d check if anyone had any objections to me murdering this
innocent piece of old tech in the name of progress?

Ta,
Bob

Can you keep the motherboard and 6502 processor until I’ve got a photo of
it.

Cheers

If you have not already done this, can I just check - I used to have a non-working Electron, which would be much better to gut. I’ll have a look.Date: Mon, 8 Sep 2014 13:34:48 +0100

I couldn’t actually see this tonight when I had a quick look round.
Hopefully someone has taken it to a loving home and not just binned it.

Either way, can people keep an eye out in case I’m just being blind.
