Farnell Opportunity

Hi guys,

I’m currently working at an agency on behalf of Uk.farnell.com.

I’ve been getting in touch with Hackspaces (including Leeds, who directed
me here)
to find out whether you might be interested in partnering with
Farnell on some level.

If I could kick off by finding out what you’re currently working on, and
what sort of new products you might be interested in. Then we could
potentially sort out some boards or components for roadtests or workshops.

I’d appreciate any feedback of interest,

Thanks!

Anyone interested in this???

Farnell had a scheme some time ago where they would give out products
in exchange for reviews or writeups. The trouble for me is that I
don’t have time to write up my own projects (I’m about a year behind
on them) let alone anyone else’s. The offer is appreciated though. On 29 March 2014 12:10, Tom Bloor tom.bloor@gmail.com wrote:

Hi Tim,

It may actually depend more on what things are available to
writeup/review/roadtest, as if its something we go ‘oooh shiny’ or are
interested in trying out anyway, or we can see as useful for a project we
are planning, someone is probably going to be more willing to do so. Its a
lovely chicken and egg scenario!

Farnell on some level.

If I could kick off by finding out what you’re currently working

workshops.

I’d appreciate any feedback of interest,

Hi Tim,

It’s Maker Faire UK this weekend, so we have all been pretty busy
preparing for that. I will and I am sure others will take a look at
this in more detail next week.

Thanks,
