Farnell order

Going to do a farnell order today, probably before 2PM.

As a note, the ATMega328PS are in stock, and have a significant
price break at 10. I need one so far, but if anyone else thinks
that they’d need some in the near future, I’d be happy to get
10 and sell them for about 3.30ukp (inclusive.) each. Bob has already
suggested we pre-flash with arduino bootloader.

I’ll be in HACMan Wed, even if only briefly as I’m not intending
on carting in a pile of stuff this time, and the current board
that is being worked on is mostly placed and just awaiting the
first testing before it is finished off.

These can be used for upgrading old arduinos to 32k of memory, allowing you
to use the new ethernet and other large libraries, and also for making other
arduino-compatible boards.On 7 March 2011 11:09, Ben Dooks bjdooks@googlemail.com wrote:

From looking at the Arduino core, it would not be difficult to use
on either breadboard or strip-board, so probably yes.

And of course, you can make anything with an ATMega328 which isn’t
an arduino.

yep, just add a 16MHz crystal and you’ll be good to go.On 7 March 2011 11:32, Paul Plowman madstunts@hotmail.com wrote:

yep, just add a 16MHz crystal and you’ll be good to go.

Given the small number of these Farnell had in stock, I ordered
10 and got allocated 7 for delivery. So will have some ready for
anyone who wants them on Wednesday.

If there’s sufficient interest, I’ll do another order later.

Ben Dooks bjdooks@googlemail.com http://www.fluff.org/ben/

I’m interested in getting some!

If people could let me know how many they want.

I’m probably going to be in most of Wed, but not bringing
all my stuff as I’m not interested in lugging it home with
me.

2 please.

I’ll see if I can find some anti-static packing materials
to bring with me, or pre-divide these at work beforehand.

we have some empty IC tubes at the space that can be chopped up if needed. On 8 March 2011 11:28, Ben Dooks bjdooks@googlemail.com wrote:

I think there should be enough stock left for two.
