Hi, I got a STM32 Discovery too. But got no clue with it to be honest.
If you already know how to flash stuff to it from Linux let me know!

Cheers,
Enric

Hey there!

I’ve been thinking about it (ever so slightly), and identified a few
problems with our initial design. I will definitely be showing up
tomorrow, looking forward to seeing you there!

Kind regards,

J.P.

Hello JP!

How is the binary clock design going? I have been looking into it
myself!
Its been a while but I have the start of the circuit sorted out. If
you

are
coming to the Hacman tomorrow night I can show you what I’ve been up
to! I
must admit it is a great learning project.

Regards

Alex

That sounds like a good idea. Let me know of their response, as I will
be in the same situations as yourself (I’ll be able to give you a hand
on writing the software as well).

A week.

I’m thinking of shooting ST an email and asking if i can have access
to the ST-Link spec to get some software written to allow linux
users

to easily flash software to the discovery, right now its a bit
useless

for me!

Just registered for mine! I’m assuming we’re only meant to submit
the

actual project later.
How long did it take for your board to arrive?

I got mine too, not sure what im going to do with it yet tho

Probably Codesourcery’s ARM-GCC version. It looks like the
debugwire
protocol used by the onboard programmer isnt linux compatible yet
though :frowning:

I just got mine today too! Thanks for the info. What compiler
etc

are u
going to use?

Just got home form DIWO at fablab, and mine was waiting for me
on
the
mat!

Playing with getting it set up for programming on Linux now.

Woo applied, haven’t heard owt back from it yet though!

Free board when you sign up to the competition, gotta be
good.
