Got some spare stuff for the hackspace if anyone wants it

Hi,
we recently had a bit of a clear out at my office and I managed to pick up
a couple of bits that someone might be interested in
I know there are certain rules surrounding accumulation of junk, so I won’t
just drop stuff off without permission
but let me know if there’s any interest

2 x Voip Phones
a bit old, but still in the wrapping so never used, look quite nice, have
ethernet connections on the back

1 x Cisco Pix 515E Firewall
need to get confirmation before I can bring this one in but fairly sure
it’s not needed anymore
It’s an old firewall with only 32Mb of memory in, it’s good for learning
how to use cisco (it’s how I learned it)
and if the memory was upgraded (for about £10) I have the firmwares
available for V7/V8 which makes the java GUI look a lot like the newer ASA’s
also has a SSH / Console interface via Putty

Oooh, I’ll take the Voip phones, they’d be really handy! If you can
plonk them on my shelf that’d be great, then they won’t take up any
space.

Thanks,

Hi Will,
you should now have 3 Voip phones sitting on your shelf
I’ve been told one of them might not be working (it might be the one
without a box / PSU that’s a bit dusty) not sure on that oneOn Saturday, June 7, 2014 12:01:21 PM UTC+1, Will Jessop wrote:
