Hack the Space Day - 7th Nov 2015 - 12:00
Saturday November the 7th is Hack-the-space-day, we have a few tasks
planned, and encourage all members to come along and lend a hand if they
can.
Tip Run
We have organised a trailer to get rid of the piles of workshop debris, so
we’ll be moving that downstairs and to the local tip.
Members Storage
We’re hoping to add more shelf space to member’s storage, and find any
abandoned items that are currently being stored.
Anything unlabelled, belonging to non-members, or seemingly abandoned will
be given a 14-days-until-removal sticker and posted to the mailing list,
then binned if unclaimed.
Electronics Wall Organisation
A lot of the boxes of bits on the electronics wall are fairly useless.
We’re hoping to sort out some of these boxes into smaller boxes, and
properly label them to make this kit more useful.
General Tasks
Even if you can only spare an hour or so, or don’t feel confident doing the
above tasks, there are plenty of other ways to help out:
- Vacuum / Brush / Mop an area of the space.
- Tidying the great wall & Sorting things into our new boxes
- Clearing junk off tables and benches
