Hackerspace entrepreneurs - pics & examples wanted:
Hello all,
Some hackspaces are built just from enthusiasm in people’s
spare time, but others have a small number of people in
who are making their living, or at least a part of it, from
their hardware hacking activities.
There’s nothing new in co-working spaces or hot-desking
in cafés if you’re a freelancer or part of a start-up, but
for those who need to solder, mill, or cut things, a
special space is needed.
I’m writing about a few of the people and places (for
Linux User magazine), and could do with hearing from
a few more people who do some of their business
around hackspaces - whether training, making, creating
the Internet of Things, or even adding to the mix by
co-working from a space.
If you have a spare 10 minutes in the next 36 hours,
please drop me a line at:

Many thanks,
is that Richard Smedley of CiX fame?

Many thanks to everyone who contacted me and
helped out with the article - there’s a great community
of people around our hackspaces
For anyone interested, the article on Hackspace
Entrepreneurs will be in Linux User & Developer
no. 105, which should reach newsagents right at the
