Good Evening people…

I am at the hackspace for some of tonight if people would like to come
down to do some hacking.

Hi,

Opening times vary depending on who is there. We are still working
this out at the moment but the plan is once you become a member (£25 /
month) after say 19:00 hrs the space will be open during the week as
long as a keyholder is present. At the moment that is myself and Bob
although we are planning to get more keys cut. Anyway the plan is
that Wednesday nights will remain and open night where anyone can turn
up regardless and on other nights when a key holder is present. To be
honest if you are a member and you want to use the space email me in
good time and I will open the space up for you. That’s why we send
the emails out when we are there (Hackspace is OPEN) and an email to
say when we have left (Hackspace is CLOSED). The space has been open
most nights this week and will be open over the weekend.

Hope this clears things up and stuff - are you still coming tomorrow night?

Hi Munaeem,

Opening times for non members are 7pm to 11pm on Wednesday evenings.

Becoming a member gets you access outside these times, we’re setting up an
rfid system at the moment and expanding the number of keyholders to help
with this.

Munaeem,

Unfortunately most of us work during the day (weekdays) but we are
there on weekends during the day so that would be your most suitable
time. With respect to your project Saturdays would probably be the
best time for you. May I ask how old you are? We haven’t really set
a policy on minimum age although most of our pre-teen members are
accompanied by an adult or guardian. We have a fifteen year old turn
up from time to time with no issues however we would prefer to at
least have some parental influence, if possible get your parents to
visit at some point so they can meet us and check the space out.
