Hello Hackers!

This years AGM will be taking place on the evening of the 31st of May 2013
(sorry about the short notice, we’ve all been tied up with the move!). It
will take place at the Hackspace, 42 Edge Street from 7.30pm.

The current agenda includes discussion and votes on:

  • Tweaking the governance system for the hackspace, including decreasing
    the number of directors to 2 (chairperson + treasurer), but keeping the
    number of board member posts at 5 members.
  • Working out what method should be used for board member elections.
  • Calling a board member election.

If anything else needs adding to the agenda above, please email me back
with details.

Hi Bob,

This is prompted by our move.

I’d like to table a supporters membership of £5 a month for people who
want to continue to support the space but are unable to attend on a
regular basis most likely due to being too far away. We’d like to
continue being members really but don’t really want to pay £35 a month
when we’re likely to visit once every couple of months at most.

Perhaps it should be with the understanding that such people would
probably only be using the space once a month or something?
