Calling all Makers/Hackers/Crafters
On Saturday 19th May 2012 the Handmade: Digital | DIY | Craft Faire
will once again be taking over one of Manchester’s most beautiful
venues, Victoria Baths, for an event exploring digital techniques and
contemporary craft, as part of FutureEverything Festival 2012.
Last year’s event featured innovative work from artists working in the
intersection of craft and digital technology, talks and installations
by artist Michael Eden and Anthony Hall, and workshops by MzTEK (Space
Studios, London), FABlab and Chinese Arts Centre.
FutureEverything once again invites makers to create objects,
installations and performances that explore the cross-fertilisation of
new and traditional media and materials.
If you would like the opportunity to showcase pre-existing or new work
please fill in the Handmade Application Form (http://bit.ly/w36WnL)
before the deadline to secure your place.
Further details are included in the application form and an
information pack will be sent out to successful applicants after the
deadline date.
Deadline for submissions Friday 27th January 2012 at 12 noon.
