I have some Sennheiser HD270’s that are free to anyone that wants to have a go at fixing them. I think there’s a problem with the socket on them, so if that were to be replaced they should work again. They look like this:
If you do fix them up you should find that they are a good quality set of headphones that will last you a long time. You will need to supply your own cable.
