Subject: Interesting competition for Hackspace Manchester members
Hello Hackspace Manchester,

I am the founder of Hardware Academy, a big community of makers and
IoT developers based in London.

Last week we have launched a competition in collaboration with Intel
called “Intel Edison Developer Challenge” and are looking for
professional developers / makers to submit product proposals with a
view to building a new working IoT prototype using the Intel Edison
board.

The competition is completely free to join. The 10 best ideas will
receive a free Intel Edison kit to develop their IoT project and will
have 8 weeks to build it.
The winner will eventually be rewarded with £1,000 cashand £500 3D
printing voucher with 3D Hubs.

I thought this initiative may be of interest to the Hackspace
Manchestercommunity, I believe it’s a great opportunity to get direct
support from the Intel team to build an IoT prototype using such a
great technology like the Edison board. And of course, win some money
 Applications close on 31 August.

If you need any other information about the competition please do not
hesitate to contact me I would be happy to answer all your questions.

P.S: I have attached an image in case you decide to share the
initiative on your newsletter.

Many thanks!
Fabiano
