Interview participants on upcycling

Dear all in Hackspace Manchester,

I am a PhD student in the School of Architecture, Design and the Built
Environment, Nottingham Trent University.

I am exploring the emerging practice of *upcycling – creation and creative
modification of any product with used products or waste materials with an
attempt to result in a higher quality product than the compositional
elements – *based on physical resources (e.g. workshop and tools) and
digital resources (e.g. any websites) at the individual level as my PhD

As part of the research, I am looking for potential interviewees who have
some experiences in personal upcycling projects for and by themselves.

The interview will take place at your convenient time and in any
comfortable public place for you.

It will take approximately one hour.

The interview results will be shared with you after the analysis.

There will also be the financial compensation (£10) for your invaluable
sharing and precious time.

If you are interested in sharing your invaluable experiences with me as
well as helping my research, please contact me via:

Email:; or

Mobile: 07462 733387

Your help will be very much appreciated!

Thank you.

Yours sincerely,

Kyungeun Sung
