Jtag Segger

Hi all,
I noticed we had a segger in the space (jlink / jtag programmer for arm),
in the dev boards box. I think originally donated by Alex
but it seemed to be lacking the adapter cable for connecting to those small
10 pin idc 1.27mm connectors

most of the new arm dev boards I’ve seen seem to have that small 10 pin
connector for SWD (including the arduino due, but not the smoothie)
so I’ve donated a cheap adapter cable I picked up from adafruit. For info
the only arm board in the dev box is the red olimex one.

I also found a source for the sockets from here
http://makersify.com/products/dfrobot-gadgeteer-socket-smt-10pcs (since the
pitch is smaller than normal idc)

I’m not sure if anyone else is into Arm programming, I’m currently working
on a couple of projects involving using mbed
one is a python wrapper for creating cmake list files, the other is for
compiling mbed projects via cmake / mbed (similar to gcc4mbed)
and possibly debugging via Visual Studio / new gdb support in 2015 using
the segger
I’ll post more info once I’ve got something that works.

Cool! Let me know how well the mbed stuff works…

Cheers
