Hi All,
Just an fyi, I’ve recently brought in some ladders on temporary loan for
sorting out the ceiling
At some point myself and my dad will make a start on scraping the ceiling
and painting on some white masonry paint (currently sitting on the blue
members shelves)
Although if anyone else wants to join in then your more than welcome.
The ladders should be unlockable via the hackspace padlock, but if you do
unlock them please make sure to re-lock them after use, this was just one
of the conditions of bringing them in
I’ve also brought in some covers and scrapers / brushes / containers for
the paint
Although be aware it may be best to wear clothes or boilers suits that you
don’t mind getting paint on
I was asked to make sure people were aware that there might be some paint
fumes
although to be honest I’ve not noticed any smell from the stuff we’re using
and it should be high up so I don’t think it’ll be detectable
We’re looking at doing this before the wall frame, since maneuvering the
ladders around the partitions might be difficult if we did that first. If
there is an issue then we can always hook up one of the fans and open the
back door
Many Thanks,
Richard
