For future reference, FabLab also have a laser although you should
check whether it’s available first. Fred Aldous have a huge one in the
basement but will require an induction session, which is part of the
£20/hour I think they now charge.On 7 February 2015 at 12:18, Chris Ball chrisballprojects@gmail.com wrote:

Fred Aldous site says £25/hr + £30 required induction hour for the first
time (or £1/min if you send them a file and they’ll do it themselves for
you!)

I believe FabLab’s is free but you need to buy your own materials and book
it through their website. On Saturday, 7 February 2015 12:23:24 UTC, Jim MacArthur wrote:

FabLab require you to go through an induction before you can book their
equipment.

For stuff that’s too big for our baby laser cutter there’s also Laser Lea,
again £25 p/h, (who I’ve not used but have talked to, they’re very
friendly) http://laserlea.com/

AFAIK Laser Lea don’t require you to have an induction first.
