MakeFest- Volunteers needed!

Hey All,

The space needs a bunch of volunteers to help out with the hackspace stand
at makefest this weekend. We’re running our build-a-bug workshop, showing
amazeballs, and a bunch of hackspace projects, so we’ll need around 5
people covering the stall.

The build-a-bug workshop is a paid workshop, where we charge £2.50 for
people to make a little bug kit. This money helps fund the hackspace to
buy new tools and equipment. The space has used some of the money we made
from running the workshop at Liverpool MakeFest to buy the awesome new
sander that you may have seen in the space.

I’ve split each day into am / pm shifts, if volunteers could fill in their
availability at http://doodle.com/3xig84c2uxzttmpx Even if you can just do
a few hours, it would be greatly appreciated. Ideally we’d have as many
different people covering the stand as possible, to allow everyone to have
a look round the rest of the festival.

Thanks in advance!

-Bob

For the build-a-bug, will training in building these kits (and possible
witty banter to go with) be provided for those volunteering to help out?On 4 August 2015 at 17:07, Bob Clough bob@clough.me wrote:
