Maker Fair Help

Hi everyone, The Manchester Mini Maker Faire is nearly upon us and we
will need plenty of help to run our stand. This event is very
important to the space as it allows us to showcase the things we can
do, and helps get more members.

To run smoothly we ideally need at least 3 people on the stand
throughout the day, and as many as possible to help setup.

I have setup a doodle[1], please tick the times you can help, and I
will create a rota from that. My aim is to ensure that everyone can
get a chance to see the rest of the fair.

On the poll, for the two friday slots, please tick if you are
available any time during each, I’m just trying to gain an idea of who
can help in the day, and who only in the evening.
The first slot on saturday and the last slot on sunday are also for
setup and tear down, all help will be appreciated.

The remaining slots are for each of the hours the Faire is open to the
public, please tick all you are able to commit to, I don’t want anyone
to have to do more than 3 hours straight though (or in fact at all if
we get enough volunteers)

Bob will be able to help much on the stalls either.

Kimball,

I will be available all day to assist with whatever is required as I
normally am. If anyone else is going to be available it would be great if
you could respond here so that we can gauge numbers and organise a rota so
that we all get a chance to wander round the fair and enjoy the day.

Cheers

We have 9 people signed up so far, thank you. We really could do with
more though, to keep the length of shifts short.

Thanks in advance,

Do you need any help getting equipment to the fair? I’ve got a
(8x4ft) trailer with ramp that I can bring down early on Saturday if
that would help. It’s my daughters birthday on Sunday and I’ve got
family staying all weekend so wouldn’t be able to offer to help on the
stand, sorry.On 11 July 2014 13:37, Kimball Johnson kimball@bowerham.net wrote:

Ah yes, that would be helpful. we have one large item than doesn’t
fit in my wife’s car, so if we can’t arrange anything else that would
be great.

Thanks,
