Maker Faire Stall

With there being 5 of us at maker faire, and only needing 2 people there at
a time, would anybody be averse to doing shifts manning the stall? We could
set up a 2 hour on - 3 hours off rotation pretty easily, giving people time
to explore, and build stuff in the uk hackspaces area!

Sounds Fair to me!! Thats kind of what I was hoping for anywayOn Wed, Mar 9, 2011 at 4:02 PM, Bob Clough parag0n@ivixor.net wrote:

Farnell can be robbing gets!!!

Fellow Hacker People of Manchester!!

I have just been costing up the cost of getting the components for the ATX
benchtop supply project that I have been working on. I decided to use
farnell completely as they are quite prompt and generally give a good
service and have all of the components available. What is not apparent is
how much they overcharge for certain things!!

Am I being daft or something!!! They aren’t even gold plated!

I can’t be bothered to rant more but the same goes for potentiometers, spst
switches, dpdt switches, heatsinks and other
shite. Be aware that there are better deals to be had.

I normally split things i need quickly between Rapid and Farnell. Anything
I can wait a week for I will normally get from mouser, they have free
delivery on orders over £50, cheap prices, and a great selection. On 17 March 2011 22:27, Alexander Lang alexanderlang1980@googlemail.comwrote:
