Subject: micro:bit Hackathon

Hi there!

We’re organising the first (of many we hope) micro:bit hackathons at Madlab on 5&6 September and are looking for talented makers/hackers who might like to join the teams which will be put together.

We need people who our audience (year 7 kids) will identify with, and aspire to.

We’re planning to make a film of the top 5 hacks for the micro:bit, with the aim of inspiring the kids who will get their own micro:bits in October with what might be possible if they use their imaginations (and learn a little code!)

If Hackspace have any names you’d like to put forward we’d be interested in hearing them!
