MMMF

Sorry I’ve not been in for ages (other obligations), but I need to know
what’s happening regarding MMMF.
Do I just rock up (when + where) with the thing, or do I take it to MadLab
before hand, and take it down with everything else.
Also, I’m assuming it would be better if I PAT tested it, but do I need to
do anything else (PL insurance ??) or bring anything else (Label thing ??)
I can probably be there for the 2 days, but I will need to be there for set
up and pack away.

Sorry, but I’m a newb at makerfaires and have no idea what to do or expect.

Help Please
George

(for the record it still isn’t finished, but it will be, and yes, the back
of it is an even bigger green-wire-bird’s-nest)

Hi George,

I am filling in a risk assessment for our mmmf stuff, so i’ll need to know
about any possible hazards (high voltages, sharp edges etc), there will be
a PAT tester there on the day to actually test things.

The easiest way to actually get stuff there would be to bring it to madlab
on the wednesday, and we can take it across with all the other stuff on
friday night. Warn us about any weaknesses so we don’t break it!

On Friday, setup is 11am to 10pm. I cant make it till friday evening, dont
know if anyone else is free that day to start the setup.
On Saturday, setup is from 7am to 10am, doors open at 10am, close at 5pm,
everyone out by 6pm.
On Sunday, we can get in 9am, doors are 10am till 5pm, teardown is 5pm to
7pm.

I can’t think of anything remotely dangerous on this, but for the purpose
of filling out the shitty form, go with tripping over the T-bar stands. I
won’t be able to bring it on wednesday (though I will be going, it really
isn’t bus-able), but if you can give me vague directions as to where to put
it, I think my Dad can bring it up there on Friday in his van. I can do
more or less anything on Friday (or whenever) for setup. Also, it ain’t
small; think etch-a-sketch but about a meter wider, and then with laptop on
table, and I might bring the smaller one as well. If you want this (or
anything else) PAT testing before the event, I think I have a tester
somewhere, and could do my stuff, and bring it on wednesday or friday.

Cheers,

Not really, has a big stand, and is wider. But it is flat (has no need for
a projector behind it), so could go right at the backOn 16 July 2012 17:40, Bob Clough parag0n@ivixor.net wrote:
