Hi y’all,
I need a bunch of 2-3m Ethernet cables - say, 20-30ish. I could go order
them online, but as we have pretty much everything we need to make them
between HAC:Man and MadLab, it makes more sense to throw the cash I’d spend
on new cables at you guys.
So is anyone interested in making up a bunch of cables for £50? It would
need them making up no later than the 15th this month.
Any takers? Otherwise I’ll place an online middle of next week - but with a
heavy heart.
Dave
Given you can buy pre-made cables with lovely boots, and tested from places
such as here:
http://www.cablemonkey.co.uk/acatalog/cat5e_Booted_Patch_Leads.html for
around £1.60 each, I’m not sure how much you’ll save.
Also the cable we tend to have in is solid core which is great for fixed
cabling, but is not as flexible and in my experience won’t last as long
when being used as general cable. On 8 February 2013 12:44, Dave Mee davemee@gmail.com wrote:

I happen to agree with Ben on this one. My time can be better spent than
making up Networking cables…
