You can get 10M HCl from hardware stores. May be labelled ‘spirits of
salt’. It’s plenty strong enough for making cupric chloride.
I did try just HCl and H202 once … I dropped the PCB in, the bath
foamed up, and 5 seconds later I had a completely clean piece of
