New dishwasher thread, actually about the dishwasher

Hi peeps,

I’m posting this again as the previous thread seems to have been
somewhat borged.

My sister has a full sized dish washer that’s got some kind of fault.
Free to anyone who wants it for spares or repair, first refusal to the
space.

The thing seems to mostly work, I suspect electronics fault or
possibly pump, but I don’t have time to try and fix it hence offering
it up.

There is an existing project that replaces the brains of a dishwasher
with an Arduino at http://www.neonsquirt.com/dishwasher.html so that’s
a good starting point if someone wants something fun to hack on.

Apologies about the other thread being borged. I know Bob and others talked
about the dishwasher.

I can’t take the project on. I have much to do at the moment. I believe
the issue was with space. A dishwasher takes up a lot of room and we
already have too much stuff.

Unless someone else on the list wants it I think the answer in
unfortunately no thank you.

Cheers

Alex
