Hi everyone,

I’m new to hackspace and have seen the advice to wear specific PPE equipment when using the woodworking equipment.

Is this provided in the space or do we need to bring our own?

Hi Louise,

Basic PPE like saftey glasses and ear defenders are provided.

Things like aprons/overalls, gloves, hair ties, etc. Generally more varied size things, you will need to bring for yourself, if you deem that you need them for whatever equipment you’re working with.

A few of the tools in the wood workshop are induction protected, so join the Woody Dusty telegram group to find out when the Inductions are happening so you can sign yourself up.
