photo paper for PCB etching

Hi guys,

I remember a while ago Alex gave me a reccomendation for some decent
(proven to work) photo paper for etching PCBs, but I can’t remember what it
was. Could someone jog my memory please?

Cheers

Rowan

hi rowan,

as far as i know 120 gram glossy laser paper works fairly well. but it also
depends on the printer you’re using. if you’re design a pcb make sure the
traces are thicker than usual. that way the traces don’t break so easily
during the toner transfer.

hope this helps.

Hi Rowan,

Constantin is correct. 120 GSM glossy paper with the gloss side presented
to the toner. Check the wiki entry for Mr Bubbles Jnr or my blog -

Cheers
