PIC Programmer

Hi all,

Does anyone have a PIC programmer capable of burning a PIC18F device
available for (a) Wednesday? I need to burn a bootloader into a OpenBench
logic sniffer that has gone wonk.

a buspirate v3 or above would also do the job.

would be much appreciated!

I have a pickit 2 programmer somewhere. Do you have access to a
programming header. If so then yet…otherwise you would have to
solder them on.

Cheers

I’ve got one of these: http://www.maplin.co.uk/pic-programmer-48074
lying about some place … will try and dig it out for tomorrow. On 28 August 2012 15:11, Barry Carter barry.carter@gmail.com wrote:

Nice one! That should do. It does have a header, I can solder on the 5 pin
connector ready.

Cheers!

I looked at that one but wasn’t sure if it could do the 18F range. In usual
Maplin style, the info was poo.On Tue, Aug 28, 2012 at 3:34 PM, Andrew Rose rose.andrew@gmail.com wrote:

I have one of those programmers too…you would be needing a USB to
serial converter…never tried it with this dev board. Also I think
that board is only capable of 16F series devices. I could be wrong
though. I will bring mine also…its collecting dust so may as well
get used for something.

Cheers

P.S I think we could hack a programmer using an FTDI friend and a
breadboard if things get desperateOn 28 August 2012 15:34, Andrew Rose rose.andrew@gmail.com wrote:

Good news…managed to find my pickit two in amongst my substantial
piles of junk. I’ll bring it to HacMan tomorrow night!
