PROPOSAL: Fixed dates for forthcoming meetings

One of the things which has become apparent at events Bob and I have
attended, and in trying to book venues for us as a group has been that our
very democratic way of selecting dates for meetings doesn’t make it easy for
us to plan stuff in advance.

To try and help resolve this, Bob has created a calendar at
http://stockport.hackspace.org.uk/calendar/ which shows what we’d like to
do, and I’ve created a doodle page at http://doodle.com/q3uahmy73tpthxst to
show your support, or lack of it, for this proposal. There is also a
comments option at the bottom of the Doodle page - can you show any concerns
or caveats via that system, so we’ve got all the comments in one place for
this?

If you’ve got two or three minutes and have time to look at the proposal and
then vote, that would be really useful. If by Wednesday we’ve got no clear
support for the proposal, then we can roll out a doodle to cover dates for
the following week and two weeks after that, and at least try and plan
slightly further into the future.

Oh, I meant to add… giving the reason why you voted in either direction is
just as important as the voting itself.

Thanks,
