A slip mat to go underneath the lathe. It produces a lot of wood shavings which can be slippy during operation. This slip mat will prevent users from falling over while operating the lathe, as the tool requires steady footing during use.

Proposed Installation:
It is not replacing anything. It will be placed on the floor in front of the lathe table. It will remain there and require no ongoing maintenance.

I don’t think we have - I used to be about all the time but had to move away to The South in the medium term so I tend to drop by occasionally now. I can drop you a line when I’m next up if you’d like to hang out at the space and say hello
