Retro Computer Event

#1

Out of interest at the space who would be up for a bi-monthly retro computing event. Thinking to bring one or two of the Amiga’s I have but would need people to bring down a machine if possible. The ideas for what to do are:

  • General meetup
  • Play a few games, and load up some old applications
  • Restoration of machines needing of some love
  • Use old machines in hacks

If this sounds good, please reply and we will pick a date. I will organise having the space for the chosen time and look in to promoting a bit wider.

Alas my Amiga 500 has been gathering dust in the attic for so
long it would be better off going on eBay.

But those with more dedication, may want to know about:

Hi Michael,

I’m interested but I haven’t got anything retro to bring along. I have had
both an Amiga 500 and an Atari ST in the past and still very much
interested in computing on those devices.

Cheers

Hey Michael,

Think this is a great idea. Though not currently able to attend myself, I
wanted to voice that it was a good one.

Not sure where you see “July 10th” as a suggestion. If you’re reading via email, discourse includes the date that the reply/post was made.

July 10th was when i made my reply
