Constantine,
I have found through experience that 120GSM matt coated paper works the
best. Some people claim glossy magazine paper works well but I haven’t
found this to be the case.
Good Luck

cheers alex,
will try that out. also, did anybody try using acetate to rub the toner off
the paper rather than using heat? would this work, too?

Not quite sure what you are meaning using acetate to rub the toner off…I
think it only responds to heat…
Try it and let me know!
Cheers

hi alex,
and the answer is: it doesn’t work with pcb’s.
though it does work with paper well. have a look at the photo:
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-XhfR2D-ZK4Y/U1piTsU19LI/AAAAAAAAAbQ/3E3e-HRlvRc/s1600/DSC_0024.jpg
i was using some paper towel wet with acetate and used it to rub the toner
off the paper. the paper will absorb this toner, not the copper though.
similar to heat, the acetate will dissolve the toner’s glue momentarily. i
guess the copper is not absorbing enough, hence the actetate method doesn’t
work.
anyhow. it was worth a try though.
bests,
