Serial UART Dev Module

Hi,

I’m wondering does anyone have a UART debugger lying around that I could
borrow?

I am trying to debug a GPS module on the arduino that seems to not work
properly on SoftwareSerial, so I have been advised to use Hardware instead.
I’ve been recommended a UM232 or equiv.

I have some pl2303 usb serial adaptors in my box if you want to give one of
them a go.

There are also some logic analysers on the electronics bench shelves that
you could use to sniff the signals, they’re saleae logic clones. On 12 August 2014 11:16, Harvinder Atwal harvinder@harvinderatwal.com wrote:

I have a HP4951 Serial Protocol Analyser I could bring in on Wed 13th for
a loan if you like.

Whoops just seen this now. Thanks, Tony but I figured out what was wrong
and I didn’t have to use the logic analyser after all.On Tuesday, 12 August 2014 15:29:57 UTC+1, Tony Goacher wrote:
