Shenzhen Maker Faire && UKTI

Hi all,

Apologies for the cross post-ish, but I’ve been approached (with my MadLab
hat on) for people recommendations for this year’s UKTI Digital Mission to
Shenzhen, 17-23 June. Basically, they’re super interested to hear from
people with something that would look good at Shenzhen Maker Faire and has
demonstrable commercial potential.

Wouldn’t normally post UKTI stuff, but Shenzhen is mind-blowingly awesome –
the closest thing to Blade Runner IRL: Arndale-size component stores, more
hackerspaces than you can shake a tube of 555s at, PCB orders in <24 hours,
super-powerful lasers for really dangerous soldering
http://dangerousprototypes.com/2014/08/07/random-spottings-in-huaqiangbei-electronics-market/,
even LEDs come with LEDs attached, on-street BGA re-balling like it ain’t
no thing etc. etc. etc.

More info here, for anyone that wants it:

.
