Small items for metalwork

Proposal Type:
Micro

Proposer:
Mike Hindley — Metal team

Description:
Some small items that we need in the metal workshop:

Already purchased and in use
Socket rails (£9.22, Amazon)
DTI holder for mill (£9.90, Chronos)

And we need:
Small drills (£19.99, UK Drills)
Metric tapping drills (suggest get 10x of each for M4, M5 and M8. M3, M6 and M10 are common sizes we already have, UK Drills)
3.3mm (M4 tapping size) x10 — £4.28
4.2mm (M5 tapping size) x10 — £4.79
6.8mm (M8 tapping size) x1 (more expensive) — £3.31

I will buy it all from the above stores, and it will be in general use on existing equipment.

Proposed Installation:
As above

Budget:
£51.49 (I know this is over £50 but I will personally offset the £1.49 out of my massive personal fortune)

Will there be an ongoing consumables cost?
No

Funding type:
Fully funded by Hackspace

Health & Safety
Does this need a risk assessment or is it already covered by an existing one? Does it need inductions to use? Who will make these processes?

N/A

Lovely, thank you. Now one of those drill sets is out of stock but I’ll grab it when I can

This is now all ordered or already in the space :+1:
