I have a project on that requires some tiny electronics making up.
I lead a stop motion production company, and one of our latest clients
is a child’s shoe company. The first video we are doing for them is
with a range of shoes that has led lights in the heel, that light up
with motion or impact. What we require to create stop motion animation
with the shoes, is complete specific control of when these lights
glow. We would have approximately 11 individual shoes, that would have
about 4 different coloured led’s in the shoes, that would each need to
be controlled. with or button or from a computer, as long as the
electronics are tiny and kept out of sight inside the tiny shoes (for
kids up to four years old).
We are at initial stages with the client, so they are still deciding
on the scripts, but it would be nice to know how much I could expect
to cost for this so I can give the client a clearer indication. Do you
need more information? Call me if you require more information. The
filming should be taking place in March, if you have availability for
this time.

Hi Kim,
What you are asking for sounds possible. When you say coloured LEDS
are you meaning multicolour LEDS as in LEDS which change colour or do
you mean a Red LED, a blue LED and a Green LED. It means the control
circuitry is slightly different…it also increases the cost of the
project. Are you intending to actually make a circuit that fits
inside the shoes and can be worn by a child or just fake it and hide
the circuitry in the shoe. By the way…what size is the shoe…it
would be helpful to know.

Did you BCC that to him? I only see a To: for hacman.
Also, you might like to ask if the brightness needs to be variable, that
might be required.
