I think we could do with a clean-the-space the day, having just had a run
around the kitchen area.

We seem to be having a clean-the-space day every fortnight. What was
actually wrong with the kitchen? On 17 November 2013 17:56, Ben Dooks bjdooks@googlemail.com wrote:

We’ve had plenty of space hacking, but not a lot of actual /cleaning/ iircOn 18 November 2013 12:31, Jim MacArthur jim@mode7.co.uk wrote:

I mopped and cleaned the sides in the kitchen a fortnight ago. Bear in
mind, we have a workshop, and generate a lot to of dust!
We don’t get the numbers at the maintainance days to get the space
spotless, we just do what we can.
I suggest that if people see a mess somewhere, they grab a cloth and clean
it up. Don’t wait for an arbitrary date. It doesn’t take long, and if
everyone did that we’d have a much cleaner space.
Hopefully having hot water will remove one of the barriers to people
cleaning

I agree, but I’d also like to add that if you make a mess please clean it up. I don’t mind tidying stuff up when I see it (and I do) but when you have finished in the space and are walking away, turn around and look back to see if it’s tidy, if anything is left out or has fallen on the floor.
Will.
I have not been spending much time in the space recently…normally I am
there every night. I seem to spend a lot of time tidying etc. It always
seems to get back to a messy state. I know that Bob, Kat and Taz are also
often tidying up. We hopefully will keep on top of things and carry on.
If members are unhappy then they are more than welcome to help tidying!
