The HAC:Man RepRap Box

We need a working 3d printer!

As you’ve seen, i’ve been working on a huxley for a long while now (hint:
if you’re going to build a reprap, dont get a huxley). Once this is done,
i’m going to be printing out a set of parts for a HAC:Man RepRap we can
keep at the space for anyone to use.

To help move that printer along, i’m going to designate one of our boxes as
’the reprap parts box’. I’ll put a printed BOM for a Reprap Prusa v2 in
the box. If anyone has parts that are on the list, Please prep them as
far as you can (eg. for something like threaded rod, cut to size, and file
the ends), put them in the box, and cross that bit off the list.

Hopefully this will help us get some of the parts ready to go, so we can
buy any extra bits and build a printer in the new year!

sounds like a plan…I’m in. As a further note can we canvass people
as to who wants to come to the Saturday sessions. I’m finding more
and more that nobody really turns up. Steve and myself were the only
ones. I don’t mind opening up but it seems a bit pointless if no-one
goes.

Regards

Yes, I would have loved to have gone, but had already agreed
to be in Sheffield for the afternoon, so couldn’t make it over.
