As you may know, Baz and I have been working on getting a 3D printer set up
for the space.
We’ve decided to go with a MendelMax Design, as this is super solid and
should stand up to the rigors of being in a hackspace. Plus its all pretty
and whatnot.

I’ve dumped some cash into it, but I’m pretty much tapped out with what i
can spend on this project now. If anyone wants to donate towards the
project that’d be great!
I’ve been keeping a spreadsheet of what we have / what we need. Some
things are missing, and not everything has a supplier yet, as I’m still
looking to find the cheapest option for some things. If you want to buy
something for the project, the best idea is to buy one of the things on the
list that dont yet have ‘Yes’ in the ‘Bought’ Column, then post here so i
can update the spreadsheet. When the thing arrives, bring it to the space
and leave it in the RepRap box. If you dont want to do this, we’ll be able
to put allocated pledges through the bank account soon so people can send
delicious money.
If you can wait until september, and it’s open source, I might be able to
