Tidy the Space Day

Hey All,

The space is getting back towards the point now where its a total mess. Is
anyone up for spending a day this weekend getting everything tidied and
cleaned?

I can do saturday or sunday, depending on when others can do.

It would be really nice if people tidied up after themselves so we
didn’t have to arrange a special tidy up day every once in a while.
I’ve been in the space a couple of times in the last two weeks and
it’s a mess. The electronics bench in particular is unusably untidy.
Should I just start clearing this stuff off into the boxes of shame?

A simple check that everything you used is put away and the areas you
were working in are tidy is all it takes before you leave is all it
takes.

Putting things from the electronics bench into the boxes of shame will merely result in someone else having to tidy them back to their correct places on the electronics bench.

The boxes of shame are primarily there for dealing with clearly personal stuff that has been left lying around. Like say, people’s power supplies :wink:

I sweep and hoover all the time…the problems stem more general
untidiness…we will get there we just all need to be more careful and
tidy up when we leave the benches…not leave them cluttered…I know
development takes time but its a shared space…
