Hi guys,
Anyone know where to get a DIL breakout board for a TSSOP-16 ic?
I’ve managed to obtain a couple of Analog Devices AD9835BRUZ DACs (by
way of free sample) but I have no way to breadboard them. I have found
a breakout board at farnell but the pins are dual-row so they wouldn’t
be possible to breadboard.
Cheers.
personally (being extraordinarily lazy and a cheap git) I just get rows of
pin headers, and solder them to the IC with bare copper wire.
I put the headers into the breadboard, then put the IC onto something to
raise it up (usually cardboard) and tape it steady), then just go at it
with the iron and wire.
Hope that helps (it probably won’t)

I might have a couple at home, but I’m not going to be around until
25th.
